Winter Celebration Planning Meeting
Thursday, January 9, 2014
Room D5

Our annual Winter Celebration event is right around the corner.  Winter Celebration is an all day dance competition hosted by our team.  This is also a major fundraiser for our team.  Our team does NOT perform at Winter Celebration.  Our entire team, along with adult volunteers, work the long day, hosting dance teams/studios that come from all over to perform.  In addition to the performers we welcome about 1500 spectators to watch the show and visit our snack bar/vendors.  I have attached a copy of the performer registration packet.  Please feel free to pass this on to family or friends that are part of the team and would like to participate in this event.  All registrations must be submitted with the required information, as instructed on the registration package.

Students
It is mandatory for all students to attend set-up on Friday, 1/24 and the event on Saturday, 1/25. Student sign-up and information will be done with Mrs. Julien in zero period and all student issues should be discussed with Mrs. Julien.

Adult Volunteers/Job Descriptions
We ask that each student have at least 1 adult, volunteer for 1 shift.  Adult volunteers must be 18 years or older (No exceptions) and be able to stand long periods, if necessary.  No children will be allowed to attend with volunteering adults.  Adults will work along side with team members signed up for the same jobs.  Remember, everyone is there to work together and make this event successful. Sign-ups are on a first come, first serve basis, however, we reserve the right to make changes as deemed necessary.  Text or email me with your choice of shift & duty.  Please contact me directly if you have any special needs.
